The menu

The menu at KANIHIRO. Four omakase crab-kaiseki courses at dinner — Sai ¥22,000, Miyabi ¥33,000, Kiwami ¥45,000, Gokujo Kanihiro ¥60,000, all tax included. At lunch, three rice bowls from ¥3,500.

Dinner — omakase crab kaiseki

Four courses to choose from.

Sai — seven courses ¥22,000

Seven dishes: an opening bite, sashimi, a clear soup, a grilled course, something fried, rice, and fruit.

Miyabi — nine courses ／ Signature ¥33,000

Nine dishes — live crab sashimi, grilled crab, crab shabu-shabu, the roasted shell, and crab rice from the clay pot, with seasonal vegetables between. Billed by the restaurant as its No.1 course.

Kiwami — ten courses ¥45,000

Ten dishes. Sashimi, grilled, shabu-shabu and the roasted shell, with a wagyu steak worked into the course.

Gokujo Kanihiro — eight courses ¥60,000

Eight dishes. The top course, which uses one whole crab and leaves nothing of it behind.

Lunch — rice bowls

Served at lunch only.

Crab straight from Toyosu market, piled into a bowl without ornament. Lunch only.

Kaiho bowl — the house bowl ¥4,500

Salmon, ikura and scallop bowl ¥3,500

Dinner is omakase only; the composition changes with the condition of the day's crab. Prices include tax, service charge separate. Based on public listings as of August 2026.
